Mr. Richard J. Matassa, P.E. is a longtime resident of Hernando Beach, Florida. He received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Miami in 1991. He is a Professional Engineer and Certified Contractor through the State of Florida. He is a member of the Florida Engineering Society and the National Society of Professional Engineers. He has worked in the private sector during his entire 14 year career. He has experience in commercial site projects, subdivisions, stormwater, wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, signalization, roadway, traffic studies, and structural engineering. Mr. Matassa also served on the Hernando County Adjustments and Appeals Board for two years.

Lee W. Huston
Lee Huston born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania relocated to Spring Hill in 1984. He began his engineering career in 1980 as a senior in High School working as a design draftsman for National Valve and Manufacturing Company. Since relocating to Florida Mr. Huston has personally designed numerous commercial franchise development projects throughout the state of Florida including, Publix, Kash-n-Karry, Walgreens, 7-Eleven, Suntrust Bank, Golden Corral, Eckerds, Taco Bell, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, KFC, TGI Fridays, and Checkers to name a few. Mr. Huston’s most notable achievement was the design of Centro Ybor Entertainment Complex, a 220,000 square foot entertainment center and Urban Redevelopment of 3½ City blocks within Ybor City, consisting of major utility relocations including stormwater, water and sewer, cable tv, power, telephone, gas and chilled water lines.

Ty Mullis is a native Floridian who has resided in Hernando County for the last fifteen years. He has worked with Richard Matassa since entering the civil engineering nearly ten years ago.
